There are lot's of difference between Korean thriller movies and Hollywood thriller movies. The big difference first, the way how the movie give us a fear is different. Korean movies use to give us fear mentally, but Hollywood movies give us fear by sight. For example Korean ghost called "Guishin" doesn't show there shape, and give fear to the taget. They don't easly appear in front of the target. But in Hollywood movies, they give the targets fear by showing their horrorful appearence and try to kill the target.
The second big difference is the object of horror's gender. Korean thriller movies oftenly use female as a object of horror, but Hollywood's used to be a male or strange creatures. Thesedays the trend of Korean thriller movie is getting simmlar to Hollywood thriller movies. And these two pictures shows each country's horror objects.
